Parent books - care in sending home
One catechist reported the following:
One thing I have learned is that I need to find another way to deliver the Parent Guide to the parents without the students looking at it. I gave the parent guide and a letter to the students. I asked them to take them home to their parents. The problem I found is that the students tend to flip through the parent guide before they hand it on their parents. As you know, the most sensitive information is left for the parents to discuss. It is contained in the parent guide. But some of the students read the material and saw the biological diagrams before they passed it on to their parents.
I think next time I will seal each Parent Guide in a manila envelope. It will be more work but I believe it is important.
